How do I utilize the lab test benefits of the FreeRxPlus card?

Too many times I have seen office managers and nurses too busy to realize that they could have referred their patients for laboratory (blood tests) services.  There are other card companies who may come and go to those offices that only provide a prescription discount. What I bring to you is the only card company that offers to the public a free discount card that has two benefits.  (pharmacy and laboratory)

What kind of patients would need this card?  For example: the unemployed, private pay, uninsured, underinsured, medicaid lapse, medicare part D patients, high deductible, high out of pocket, and non-citizens who pay cash for these services.

How do I use the FreeRxPlus card to set up service with a medical laboratory?

  • Ask your clinic office manager to get for you a detailed written doctor's order legible enough for you to dictate that order to the operator when calling 1-800-808-1213. Please have your FreeRxPlus card ready with you when calling.
  • If you are ordering a lab test you will need to choose a LabCorp office near where you live listed by an operator or you can search before calling at https://www.labcorp.com/wps/portal/findalab .
  • A customized requisition will be mailed to you so that you can present it to that office when it is time to draw your blood.  You can ask for your blood test results to be mailed to you so that you can bring it to your next scheduled doctor's appointment.

If you do not have a FreeRxPlus card I'd recommend that you get one at http://tinyurl.com/rxprintcard
