How is the Radiation from the Fukushima Nuclear Plant in Japan affecting the World Today?

How Is The Radiation From Fukushima Affecting Plants and Non-Human Organisms?

A recent series of studies have shown that certain species of birds, plants and insects are still suffering from the Fukushima radiations. Researchers further said that studying effects of radiations on these organisms will help them better understand the complex and more dangerous effects of Fukushima radiations.

Results of many past and recent studies on butterflies, birds, monkeys and some other species have suggested that some nonhuman organisms and plants have been impacted from the radiations of Fukushima disaster. A common point of all these studies was that prolonged exposure to low dosage of radiation has a very different effect on the organisms compared to short exposure to high level radiations. Researchers further added that the effects of prolonged exposure to low level radiations were insidious.

The low level gamma radiations in Fukushima altered the healthy seedling of rice on a genetic level just in three days. These radiations ceased the activation of self-defense traits and altered the DNA replication of rice plants.

White populations of butterflies remained stable with no mass deaths, but pale grass blue butterflies in the nearby area of Fukushima were affected and found to be smaller in size and growing at a slow rate compared to a normal growth rate. These results suggested radiations’ impact decreased the growth level of pale grass blue butterflies

Thyroid Cancer Cases near Fukushima Area

A reporter of Associate Press reports that many families that live near the ‘no go zone’ which is six miles radius surrounding the Fukushima plant are not sure that their children are safe or not from cancer. That is why many families have moved away from the no go zone and many send their children to far off schools to save them from dangers of developing cancers. After the Fukushima disaster, minimum 33 children have been diagnosed with thyroid cancer throughout the Fukushima region and many more children are suffering from different symptoms possibly from the Fukushima radiations. Japanese physicians have said that there is four times rise in cancer cases after the Fukushima incident.

Fukushima Radiations and Global Ecosystem

The scientists are saying that the Fukushima radiations are affecting the entire Global ecosystem’s health in a dangerous way. Mousseau, an Associate Press reporter said that  effects of Fukushima disaster are just like Chernobyl, and it seems Fukushima has affected almost all parts of the ecosystem. It has affected the soil bacteria, soil fungi and top predators too. Scientists also revealed albino birds, deformed trees of pines and mutant firebugs because of Fukushima disaster.

Fukushima Radiations and Food and Water Contamination?

Fukushima radiations traveled through air and soon reached to the West coast of California and Mexico.  A 2012 study of Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences reveled that blue fin tuna has brought radio -active cesium across the ocean to the North Pacific. Cesium radiations were not considered normal and were not present before Fukushima disaster. Just a few weeks after the Fukushima incident, levels of radioactive isotopes were increased in soil, water and milk across the US. Pacific Ocean has been affected badly by Fukushima and it is killing the sea life.
FDA.Gov. states that we could not find any clear evidence that the radionuclides from the Fukushima leakage are present in US foods in significant amounts to cause health problems in US people. In 2013 food testing of Japanese imported foods, the FDA only found Ginger powder in a non-acceptable range.

Fukushima and Deaths in West Coast of US

Deaths from Birth Defects on the West Coast of US after Fukushima Disaster were reported to increase. There was a significant increase in the cases of anencephaly in the Washington state between the years 2010-2014. Among other causes, one major cause of anencephaly was considered the Fukushima disaster.

Which Countries were affected by Fukushima?

Japan at the most part, and then mainland Asia and North America and Mexico at a minor level were affected by Fukushima disaster.

Solution of Fukushima from Keshe Foundation

Still there is no solution of Fukushima, the only way we can do is to neutralize the contaminated soil and water.  Keshe foundation has recently announced a solution publically for the contaminated water and soil because of Fukushima radiations.

Here is the proposed Keshe Solution for the decontamination of water and soil.

Step1- Gather some metals together like iron, copper, old wire etc.

2- Place metals in a container and add hot water and caustic soda and put it for 24 hours.

3- Transfer the metals to a conductive environment

4- Pass a small amount of voltage across the metals to create holes or gaps known as p-n junctions. This passed electric field will create a specific magnetic and gravitational field on the metals to attract and lock the radioactive materials.

Decontamination Process

Put the metals from the previous step into the soil and water. Now run a magnet on the soil to gather the metal which contains all the radioactive radiations.  The same method can be applied for water decontamination.
